My parents just moved to The Villages and I am visiting while on break from college. I am looking for a job, however it has been difficult since most places do not want to hire seasonal employees.

I attend college at Ave Maria University in Naples. I would be here until the end of August. I will also be available during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break.

If anyone could offer me some suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it

Try this..........

Job Search | one search. all jobs. Indeed.com (http://www.indeed.com/)

Perhaps use "seasonal" in the search box.

Good luck.....LOTS of jobs out there.

It is almost August. You can probably get work as a house cleaner or work for a landscaper. That is something that would be available during the short times you are here. Good luck. My kids have told me that they learned almost as much about life and everything through those kinds of jobs as they learned in a formal school setting. You will find work because you are looking for it, but it may not be exactly the kind you envisioned.

It is almost August.

I realize that. I just completed summer courses as I wanted to get ahead to assure that I can finish my BA in four years. Back home in PA I was a hostess/ waitress and they worked with me when I was out of school. I tried a few of the establishments here, however, they do not seem to want to work that way
