Need some help here.
I have about 20 Microsoft Office Word files I want to transfer to Microsoft Excel. Everything I have tried (drag and drop, etc) says "not valid'.
What do I need to do?
Any help is appreciated.

It sounds like you might have a list in Word that you want to place in Excel. Try this link. How to Convert Word Docs to Excel (http://www.timeatlas.com/5_minute_tips/general/converting_word_docs_to_excel#.UfG88hZx5TM)

Excel is basically a database so difficult to put large Word files into it and keep them readable, but if you only have a small amount of verbiage in each document you should be able to copy and paste the text into cell A1 and Excel will lay it out as it deems best - you will lose most formatting, however
