Bicycle Storage Question

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but here goes...

Do bicycles suffer from being stored in hot garages? I don't mean extended periods without use, but just being kept in the garage between rides...maybe 3-5 rides per week?

My wife's bike has been stored in a hot garage in South Florida for 11 years with no ill effects. Had it serviced in anticipation of the move and it was fine. So from our experience you are good for at least 11 years.

I hang mine from a hook on the ceiling.
