I can relate, although my original cat, Magic, was glad to see me when I was returning from out of town. My new cat Molly, usually also greets me briefly near the front door when I return from a day at work, although she usually runs back upstairs after about 1 minute. Tonight she yawned about 2 minutes after I got home. I asked her if I was boring her already LOL.
