We just ordered new stainless steel appliances from Home Depot. Rather than just let them haul away the perfectly working old ones (black), we thought we'd sell them. There's someone who advertised in the Daily Sun that they buy used appliances. We called them and left a voice-mail but no callback. Does anyone know of a company in the area that buys appliances?

If you can't find anyone to buy how about a donation. I volunteer at a Habitat for Humanity restore. They take donations of contracting materials and furniture from people and leftover stuff from contractors and sell them to people who need to fix up their home. If the one by you works like the one here they will come and pick up and gave you a receipt for your taxes. I looked on the net and here is the one nearest you. I also go to mine locally when I need things like extension cords or light switches or a cheap lamp, the prices are good and I figure I am helping out.

Just a thought.

Was not planning to sell on this forum, or would have listed it in the classified. Nonetheless, I will send PMs to those that inquired, momentarily.
