Speeding in The Villages has reached epidemic proportions. I make every effort to drive the speed limit on all streets. When cars are not passing me at twice the speed, they are following and making hand gestures for me to speed up.
The phrase "what's the big hurry" is a trite phrase. It's a simple matter that people have forgotten or don't care that they have to obey the speed laws. They are not bad people, but there is a flaw in their thinking that has got to change.
PLEASE SLOW DOWN1 :(
