I have noiced that Duval seems to maintain a high level of resales. Since the area is not that old, I was curious if there is a particular issue impacting the residence in that location such as higher taxes?

am pretty sure there are 1500 or 1600 homes there - one of the larger villages. Some of the other villages nearby are quite a bit smaller - Largo and Sabal Chase, for instance. No difference in taxes than other locations in Sumter County of similar age.

Duval is the largest subdivision in all of The Villages

Its a great place to live and I doubt that the percentage of houses for sale at any one time is any higher in Duval than any other village

We love Duval!
True, there are 20 homes listed but 15 of them are "pending" sale.
They don't last long!

Duval is not only the largest Village, it is also quite popular because of its centralized location.

One of the reasons I bought in Duval was it's centralized location
Duval is just about half way between Brownwood and LSL as well as with 10 minutes by cart of most of the golf courses (exec and champ) south of 466 including the newer ones south of 466a.
