I was at the Market of Marion and a guy is selling these antennas. He had one hooked up, and was getting excellent TV reception from dozens of channels. I bought one today on eBay, and if it works as good as his does, good by to Cable TV.

An outside or inside antenna?
A lot will depend on your specific location.

It's variable. Maybe weather. I pick up 8-10 or so regularly and some times 3 or 4 more. If I move the antenna around I can pick up some different channels as well. Mine is a Mohu Ultimate Amplified indoor antenna. The picture is excellent uncompressed HDTV. I'm not a big TV watcher so as long as I can get the news, football and a few shows I'm satisfied. NetFlix & Amazon Prime streaming fill in the rest. Right now I can get:
2.1 WESH
2.2 MeTV
5.1 WUFT
5.2 WUFT2
5.3 WUFT3
6.1 WKMG
6.2 RTV
6.3 LiveWe
20.2 WCJB
51.1 WOGX
51.2 WOGX2

I installed an ultra long range multi directional outdoor antenna in a home in Buttonwood. It's been rock solid for the 5 months it's been installed. It's mounted in the attic and tapped it into the existing low voltage coax so all the TV's in the home get the feed. Indoor antennas have a tough job at this distance. Add in concrete/block homes with metal studs and you get the picture (pun intended) ;)
As always with antennas, "your mileage may vary"

Yeah I knew it would be a stretch being so far from Orlando & Gainsville but I have no attic or crawl space.
I'm pretty satisfied with what I get. Sometimes just moving it 6" adds or subtracts 4-5 channels.

That's great. People don't realize that some of the best picture and sound quality content is available with free over the air high definition broadcasts.
I believe many are still relating to past experiences with analog television but cord cutters are becoming more and more common with the wide variety of quality streaming solutions available today.
