I hope the ugly, and disappointing "wall" situation is speedily resolved, and that a gate is installed sooner, rather than later.
What a pity such a completely thoughtless act was allowed to happen in the first place.
On the bright side WHAT A WONDERFUL TOOL TOTV has been in allowing us to speak our minds, get organized, and get the word out when all other methods seem to have failed. Kudos to TOTV Administrator in accommodating us during this unimagined event. S

It is great and cathartic to have a voice in issues that upset us. Thank you Admin and moderators for letting us speak.
In all the 50,000 plus hits, you never dropped the ball.

Great job to the administrators and thanks to all who support our efforts. Although it is too early to tell that this will be resolved, there surly would have been no progress with out the TOTV soapbox on which to express our outrage.

Ditto, ditto and ditto some more. Definitely a plus in keeping everyone advised of the developments as they occurred. Thanks a bunch.

And what we should also appreciate is that the Admins essentially had to spend about 18 hours per day monitoring that one thread. Look at the number of "orphan" and "off topic" posts they deleted to keep the thread organized.
I also applaud their willingness to let some strong and rather one-sided opinions remain. The willingness to allow free speech was not always pretty, but it was appropriately and even courageously democratic.
Good job!

Sorry I missed the "battle" (road trip) but read most of the posts. WOW! The Administration did do a terrific job.

I also applaud TOTV and the villages for the forum and willingness to try to come to a speedy solution. I just wish some unfortunate personal and nasty comments that do no good for anyone but to hurt feelings would not be allowed to stay. I for one have been berated in the past for such trivial things as using ALL CAPS (oh my gosh !!!) to misspelling a word on purpose. What purpose does such berating and nastiness serve. I for one would like to know.

Admin, applause. That had/has to be a lot of work. But it is gratifying to see TOTV used for informational purposes, and perhaps lead to change.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. The number one rule to follow that makes for the most productive discussions is not to direct your comments toward another user but keep them directed at the topic. We appreciate the support.

I would like to add my thank you to the TOTV Admins. Many of us are away from The Villages during the summer. Thank you to the owner of TOTV for providing this forum and allowing all the members to stay in touch with TV breaking news!
