I am posting this so the same or similar situation does not happen to anyone else who is smart enough to heed this experience.
Had a lower face lift May 30th - incision site on one side was not healing and was blistered/inflamed - this was July 30th. The doctor was so rough in his treatment of the site that in 48 hours I had to go to emergency care. The doctor there could not believe what Dr. Serra had done to me. The entire incision site was blistered, infected, and a mess. The doc at emergency care immediately put me on an antibiotic and special infection salve.
As long as surgery goes fine, Dr. Serra is all smiles, huggey, kissey......but when there's an obvious problem its like he can't handle it emotionally. All our friends could not believe the harsh treatment this doctor gave me.
I will never go back again and do not recommend this doctor at all.
