We are on the way!

We just put a contract on a house and will be closing in late September! We did a lifestyle visit back in January and knew within 24 hours we would be buying a home in The Villages. We've spent many great nights looking at houses on the website and poring over our very tattered map to see where each house was located, the pros and cons of different floor plans and the pros and cons of different locations. I even had a worksheet set up with points given for which way the lanai faced, whether there was a golf car garage, etc. etc. Funny, but we ended up buying one on-line and won't see it for real until the day of closing.

I can't wait to get there full-time forever! YAY! :pepper2:

We had visited several times but actually bought before a short lifestyle visit.

Don't feel alone, we bought ours after seeing it online. We had decided on a new CYV because of the fenced/walled back yard. And to add to that, it was completely furnished! We saw some pictures on TV website, and had our realtor take some others. We had been looking for months and months for a Bonifay on a corner. I woke up one morning, told my husband, lets just buy this one. We were not disappointed! We loved it, and saw it a couple days before closing. We even managed to fit a small pool in the backyard after our April 3rd closing. We just knew it was important to be there, even if it was only part time. Good luck with your choice and enjoy being in TV!

We bought while on our LSV. Closed in May, coming back on Saturday for 15 days. Like you, we can't wait :pepper2::pepper2::pepper2:

We found a great house on a corner lot with a pool and a privacy wall around the pool area. The color isn't what I would have chosen but everything else was just perfect. We are so looking forward to meeting our neighbors, golfing, art classes, yoga, swimming, etc., etc., etc., etc.
