We are looking for people who may be interested in helping with a "Walk for Wishes" to be held at The Villages Polo Fields on the 3rd of Nov. We are now in the process of securing sponsorships, a D.J., food venders, walking teams, etc.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida is a wonderful organization that grants the wishes of children with life threatening illiness'. I have been involved with this group as a volunteer for many years both here and in Chicago. and I can assure you that your time would be well spent.
Our present committee is very small, and we desperately need your help. If you have any interest at all in this project, please call Diane at (352) 430-1173 or e-mail at dbooth321@yahoo.com. We can then discuss the details of the event, and where you talents or contacts could be used to the greatest advantage.
