Does anyone know of a local doctor who will take a patient with no insurance for anything but emergencies? This patient is not a US resident and only has (very good) medical insurance for emergencies, but not doctor visits, so will pay cash.

Why would a doctor not take cash?

I think most Doctors will take cash and have heard in the future they may ONLY take on patients with cash. Don't think they will have a problem

I think Dr.Martinez Cruz has retired or no longer has a practice. That is what came up with health grades.

Is it Diaz or Cruz and is either one retired or actually taking appointments? I'm so confused:)

Dr. Cruz is indeed practicing in the Dana Building. There is an ad in today's paper. If anyone has had any dealings with him, please let me know. I have been to him a few times but something does not feel right. He was fired from his last practice????

We are very happy w him so far.
He is knowledgeable, patient, listens.
I don't know why he left his previous office.
Personality conflicts?
Long commute for the dr?
There could be many reasons.
We are happy w him so far and plan to continue going there.
