I am thinking of leaving my car at the Marriott park and fly in Orlando for a week. Wondering if anyone has done this, and recommends it? Have you had any problems or hidden costs? I appreciate all comments.
Thanks in advance.

We use them every time we fly with no problems at all. You park your own car.
The lot is guarded 24/7. No hidden costs. We pay them on-line and print our reservation info. Shuttle to airport is approx every 15-20 mins. Good luck.

Have used them twice with no problems. About $40 per week, and frequent shuttles to terminal (about 10 minute trip.). You park your car in a gated lot.

Curious: As a newbie, is this approach more economical then the shutltle from The Villages?
Proximity to a major airport was one of my location priorities.

Driving to the Orlando airport is about 70 minutes or so. There are tolls since you are going to drive on the Florida Turnpike and tolls are numerous around the airport. We usually park at Park, Bark, and Fly and it costs about $6 per day and free bus to the airport. Easy pickup and dropoff.

Figure gasoline, tolls, and parking. For one person, the Villages Transportation at $35 each way is about the same price. For more than one person, driving and parking is cheaper.

I agree the Marriott is as good as any. There are dozens to choose from and I will be parking there three times between now and mid January. So you can tell I like their service. I agree with the other posters, it all depends on how many are going to the airport, length of stay at the airport lot, etc. I use the shuttle sometimes but usually park at MCO. Easier to go and return on my own schedule, though shuttle schedules are good. I like driving right to my door without taking a tour of The Villages. Good Luck. Oh! If you are planning to park at the airport around ANY holiday - be sure to reserve in advance. It is hectic at those times and the shuttle may be a better choice.

I would recommend the Marriott, it was very convenient no hidden charges and as another poster stated we made our reservation and paid on-line.

We have also used the shuttle but if both of us our traveling we prefer to drive to MCO.

Thanks for all the comments on the Marriott park and fly. It makes me much more comfortable knowing some of my fellow Villagers have used their parking services and like it. TOTV is SOOOO wonderful for finding out information on so many things. ♥
