I am curious why the Villages never have a big celebration on the 4th. They could set up the program over the lake at Lake Sumter. I know it may be a little expencive, however, it would be sensational for the Villagers.

I love the idea :agree:, but what about the problem of the potential for fires. Out here in the west, only fire departments or fire display company's can put on fireworks. (That is what you were talking about, isn't it?)

But I agree.... Lake Sumpter would be perfect!
