I had issues of only getting one bar in Hadley even after the new towers were installed. You can get a microcell from ATT. You may need to talk to a supervisor in order to get one at a reduced cost. Normally they are around $100. I bought one from someone else but had to have ATT activate it for me at no cost. I love it. We rarely get dropped calls and always have several bars.

And don't forget *228 (finds nearest tower and helps a little). I have to do this frequently while traveling around TV.

Do Verizon and AT&T share the same cell towers now? We switched from AT & T before their new towers (we live in Sabal Chase) as reception was better for Verizon. AT & T was fine in the northern part of the Villages (Glenview and Nancy Lopez Country Club areas), but not south of 466, at least a year ago it was.
And in what Village are New Haven Villas?

We have a micro site too with AT & T. Never drop a call and full bars all the time. I think we paid around $100 too - worth every penny.

AT&T presently has two towers in TV; Verizon at least 8. They don't share other than the normal "bounce" from one tower to another.

Verizon Wireless doesn't own any towers in TV, and neither does AT&T. They each lease space on area towers & Villages water tanks for their individual antennas, and lease space on the ground for their individual equipment. This is called co-locating. These days the vast majority of tower sites are owned by "infrastructure only" companies like American Tower, Crown Castle, Spectrasite and others, as the actual wireless service providers like VZ, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, etc. prefer not to be in the real estate business. AT&T telling unhappy customers that they were building new towers within TV was pure BS. They probably improved their coverage by upgrading their existing antennas & equipment, but no new towers were built. Verizon is a co-locator on three TV area towers & one water tank, not eight.

Thanks. I went by what I was told from a long-time resident who is rarely misinformed. Nice to get what sounds like very accurate info, although I'm disappointed in hearing there aren't more towers or antennas.

In November 2011 the City of Wildwood approved the site plan for a Cingular Wireless PCS dba AT&T Mobility 250 ft. tower. It was constructed on property owned by Wildwood, located between 301 and Miona Lake Golf club.
I'm not sure who "owns" it today, but it is a new tower which was completed during 2012.
