In my not so humble opinion, Hacienda Hills Country Club has the best Sunday buffet in The Villages.
It is $11.95 and runs from 10 until 1. Excellent choices of food. There is a pancake bar where you can have custom made pancakes; omelette bar with around 15 choices of fillings; carving station with ham and steamship round of beef; breakfast items such as sausages, eggs Benedict, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, pastries, and breakfast potatoes. You can go back for as much as you want.
The Bloody Mary's are $3.50.
There is a wonderful singer for background music.
It is a fair trek from the land beyond 466A but then, they always have Bonifay.

I just can't eat that much - Athens Restaurant on SS Square has a great breakfast for under $5 including coffee.

My husband and I agree. We also think Hacienda CC has a great buffet. We love going there on a Sunday. We live in Hemingway and it's a lovely drive by golf cart. In fact, we have never gotten a bad meal there.

Been to Hacienda many times for Sunday brunch. We have found it average at best and a little overpriced. We like Katie Belles a little better, but our favorite is actually Golden Corral - great made-to-order omlettes, sirloin steak and every imaginable side dish for under $10.

I enjoy the food and service, but most of all - Betsy Starr - wonderful singer. Always a good time!

Since 2005 when my family visited TV they always enjoyed brunch at Orange Blossom CC. The price was right and more important they accepted reservations. Last year we took this same crew to Hacienda CC, and while it may be a few dollars more than OB, it's far superior. The brunch at Hacienda is excellent and it's a nice experience overall. There's no going back to OBCC.

We have been to Hacienda fairly often for their Sunday buffet. It is the only place that I know of that has mozarella cheese for their omelets. For the most part their buffet is good. However, for the 2 of us it cost us over $30 including tip which to me is way too much. A cheaper choice would be Golden Corral who has a wide variety of options and in my opinion is quite good. However, the cheapest buffet is found at Water Oak which I believe is only around $7 which includes coffee and juice. Granted it's not a huge buffet but has eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, sausage gravy as well as toast and danish. It's a remarkable value and is only served on Sundays at the golf course. I was never too impressed with Orange Blossom or Tierra.

For a special treat......................
Every Sunday, Harbor Hills Country Club puts on the most grand brunch in all of Lake County. Residents far and wide enjoy grade A eggs and omelets made to order, eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles and pastries. Taste fresh salads that are made, along with mouthwatering fruits and cheeses. Our chef performs magic as he prepares a meat carving station that is sure to please. A Scrumptious poultry dish is made to perfection and the freshest seafood entree is available. Enjoy seasoned assorted vegetables and potatoes. Be sure to save room for desserts and the flaming crepes. Be entertained with live piano music and admire breathtaking views of Lake Griffin.

Sounds like you copied one of their ads for the brunch.
Couple of questions: 1. Aren't all the eggs Grade A no matter where you eat?
2. What is the price of this brunch? 3. How much are the Bloody Mary's? 4. What poultry and seafood entrees are there?

Copied the ad from the web site (was that wrong?). No prices listed. They have an ad in the Daily Sun. Went there for their Mothers Day Brunch and it was great, around $35.00. I think on Sundays its $20.
Found this on Gourmet Club web site.
Harbor Hills Country Club, 6538 Lake Griffin Rd., Lady Lake, FL. 7.6 mile drive from The Villages. 753-7000. (American) L/D. Their lunch menu is limited to Fried Shrimp, Liver & Onions, Sandwedge (Bacon & Egg), various Wraps, Burgers and Sandwiches and an assortment of large salads. Soup and Chili are also offered, as are Hot Dogs. It's more popular for their 11 AM to 2 PM Sunday Brunch: $18, children 4-10: $7, under 5: free. Champagne or Mimosas add $4 pp. Mother's Day Brunch is $32 pp. when Champagne and Mimosas add $8 pp. 17% gratuity added to all checks. Live music at brunch and dinner. I also love Harbor Hills Sunday brunch. The view is great and they have a nice piano player. It's a little more upscale than the other buffets and we always take our company there. Last time I checked it was $17.95, yes a little pricey but I think worth it for a special occasion. Be sure to go out on the porch for a gorgeous view of the golf course. If you're lucky you'll get a seat by the window.

We checked out Harbor Hills last Easter. It was a special Easter Brunch and it was $34.95 per person. I am sure it would have been excellent but we got invited to a friend's for dinner.

All these restaurants are great, however, to me the best Sunday brunch would be a simple one made at home, served out by the pool (if you have one). Below is a very easy brunch for yourself or for sharing with company.
SERVE WITH PLATTER OF CUT UP TROPICAL FRUITS
If your guests are meat lovers, serve with pork sausage links........Jimmy Deans or your favorite.
FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE:
Prep: 10 minutes
CHILL: 1 HOUR or overnight
Bake: 50 minutes
Serves: 8
Tempting cinnamon bread is soaked in a custard overnight, ready to be baked for a perfect brunch dish.
ingredients
1 loaf (16 ounces) Pepperidge FarmŽ Cinnamon Swirl Bread, cut into cubes (about 8 cups)
6 eggs
3 cups milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Confectioners' sugar
Maple-flavored syrup (optional) or preferably VERMONT MAPLE SYRUP
directions
Place the bread cubes into a greased 3-quart shallow baking dish. Beat the eggs, milk and vanilla extract in a medium bowl with a fork or whisk. Pour the milk mixture over the bread cubes. Stir and press the bread cubes into the milk mixture to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight.
Heat the oven to 350°F. Uncover the baking dish.
Bake for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with the confectioners' sugar. Serve with the syrup, if desired.
Tip: This recipe will work with any of the Pepperidge FarmŽ Swirl Breads (Cinnamon, Raisin Cinnamon or Brown Sugar Cinnamon)

Totally agree. The best deal in The Villages. Singer is great also. I've also found the lunch deals to be excellent, and the Tuesday night German/Hungarian night is also good.

I have never been to Bonefish for Sunday Brunch but do like Bonefish very much.
I am unclear about the mimosas. Is that unlimited mimosas for $19.99 just for the drinks or is it the unlimited mimosas with any brunch item for $19.99 as the combined price? All the mimosas you can drink for $20 is kind of high. Most people would not do more than 4. Any of the restaurants do not charge more than $5 per mimosa.

We used to love Orange Blossom! But won't be back sine the last owner lost his lease (from what we heard a friends of the developers wanted it so....... Anyway my first choice it my husbands breakfast. He makes a mean breakfast, fluffiest pancakes, perfect eggs, awesome sausage gravy and biscuits, nice crisp bacon... I have no reason to go out :)
