Talkin' about resales here...

If you go to thevillages.com and click on designers and over 400K you get 35 listings.

Twenty out of 35 listed are pending... and that is in the upward range cost of designers. That is good news for us homeowners and shows that the reps do sell RESALE homes here.:BigApplause:

Sometimes the naysayers say that TV reps only concentrate on new builds.

Most of the available lots are: pool size, golf course or lake view, with high premiums. Golf course lots are $175k and up!

Gracie I heard from my mother's uncle's brother's cousin's butcher that the sales agents at TV are now being paid the same if they sell new or resale. I also assume they are shifting gears for when "the great build out" occurs.

In keeping with these house prices, did you notice that in this mornings "Voice" the average household income for home buyers in TV is now $93,800. This article did not say "retirement" income, but household income which leads me to believe there must be many residents still working.

I think that you'll find that a large percentage of homes every price range are pending. I heard that properties of the Villages sold over 600 homes in July.

A rising tide lifts all ships.

Jack Kennedy said that about economic growth also.

Jack Kennedy said that about economic growth also.
:BigApplause:

The phrase was in use as the motto of a New England council. Kennedy or one of his speech writers discovered it and Kennedy thought it would be good material to justify a dam he wanted built. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_rising_tide_lifts_all_boats

Kennedy also "borrowed" another statement for which he is famous. "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." He picked that up from the headmaster of a school he attended. Jack just substituted "country" for "school". http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57318197/jfks-iconic-speech-inspired-by-ex-headmaster/

I am hoping the tide continues to rise, but not "bubble".
