You beat me to it I was just going to post that they are back. They are swarming in the bushes, well actually I think they are doing something else in the bushes. :icon_wink:

May and September.....there's no getting around it. Hint, spray Hydrogen Peroxide on those that are on your car, let it set and fizz a few minutes and they are much easier to clean off. I've been doing this for years and it won't hurt your paint.

Keep some laundry sheets in your glove box. Lightly dampen and wipe. Gets the guts right off. You will have to wash the car later because the sheet leaves a film on the car but really makes removing them easy.

Thanks Bosox that took me back to my Disco days!
For some reason Soul Train was shown on Sunday morning which was perfect after dancing the night away on Saturday.

Wow, we just missed them on our late May visit and we are arriving Oct 9, so I am hoping that they have come and gone before we arrive this time too.
Fingers crossed!

Saw an uncoupled lovebug a few days ago and the "Lookn' for Love in All the Wrong Places" tune immediately started running through my mind!

This is what I use for bugs: Bug Barricade, 35 Ounces - Griot's Garage (http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/bug+barricade+35+ounces.do?sortby=ourPicks)
Bug Barricade Makes Removing Bug Jerky A Breeze
Our Bug Off! was a hit, but in my constant quest to strive for perfection I re-released it with a new and improved formula and name. With Bug Barricade you'll get the same type of protective coating you enjoyed with Bug Off! with an easier to apply formula that is twice as slippery to prevent bugs from sticking in the first place! Simply spray Bug Barricade on the surface (right over your wax) and spread it evenly with a soft micro fiber cloth. Its high lubricity helps prevent bugs from sticking to the surface. Now you have an invisible, water-soluble barrier so when you wash your vehicle after a summer drive the bugs come right off! Works on paint, plastic, rubber, chrome, and trim. Now all you have to worry about are the deer and those texting drivers!

Is Bug Barricade available for local (TV) pickup?

I use a paste called Rejex. You can usually get it at a local airport or online. Some pilots use it on their planes to easily get the bugs off.
You just put the paste on some night before you go to bed, and buff it the next morning.
Did it to my car when we drove 1300 miles to the Villages last year. Bugs came right off and front of car cleaned up in minutes.

Just noticed 2 of my posts on this thread where I posted some you tube videos no longer have the videos. What's up with that?

FWIW, this is the old TOTV issue where youtube videos do not show up in IE. I think it is just IE.
I do see your videos in your posts in this thread; I use Chrome. Try to QUOTE your post and you will see that the video is really there.
