I am looking at buying a Yamaha gas cart. I would be interested to hear who has bought one, where they bought it, and any advise you could give to me. Are you happy with it and the customer service you have received at the dealership. Thank you.

We bought ours from Kim at the Colony Yamaha dealer. Do check when the newer models are coming in. When we bought ours they didn't mention that the new models would be in two weeks from then. Two of my favorite add ons are the ac adapter and the upper shelf. A fan would be nice also. We also added the speedometer, gas gauge and odometer worth the money. The ultimate seats are awesome and to me well worth the money if you have back issues.

We bought ours at Carts and Clubs on 441 south of Ocala. Very happy with the deal and ditto for the service after the sale.

Carts and Clubs in Ocala was our choice. Biggest reason was the Sunbrella enclosure. There seams, snaps, gaps, and design are far superior to any other we saw. I have two Yamaha carts. One from Carts and Clubs and one from The Villages Golf Carts. Checking them side by side they are both great carts. But the enclosure on Carts and Clubs cart is so much better. We hardly ever drive the Villages cart in the cold or rain.

Carts and Clubs of Ocala. Great product, great service and more bells and whistles for your money compared to The Villages. Plus the carts are quieter, because they insulate the engine.

Did anyone buy a new Yamaha golf cart outside the Villages? Some dealers outside "the bubble" are selling them for much less money. Not mentioning any names, but Google "New Yamaha Golf Carts" and take a look at their websites.

Todd Gambino at the Sumpter Landing Villages Golf Cars is great to deal with.
I bought mine from TV shop at Lake Sumter Landing and have had no problems.
Just make sure, no matter where you buy it, you get the EFI model which I think came out in 2012.
Better fuel economy and from what I have heard less smell.

I see Carts and Clubs carry the MEE enclosures. Does anyone have one of these? are they ok? what do they cost?

I have a MEE enclosure from Carts and Clubs. I love it and it's really airtight. Can't recall how much it costs.

Thanks John,
We have been communicating with Villages Colf Cars re buying at Yamaha Cart when we return in December.
After reading that a lot of people have really good things to say about Clubs and Carts, I think we need to comparative shop there and will see how much they are charging for the MEE as an add on.

Very little difference between the 13 and 14's.
Digital speedometer and so doodad on the hood.
Engine and all the mechanics are the same.

I believe that on the 2014's, they install a Yamaha gas gauge and it also has a digital hourmeter as well.
