I really doubt that any intergalactic spacecraft would have a propeller, so I doubt it was aliens.

It was Marvin Martian, the snowmooner returning to TV for the winter! I strongly recommend you do not approach to complain if you catch his dog (K-9) pooping on your lawn... or you may find out what it feels like to be emulsified! :22yikes:

it is simply an ultralight single person plane. Have seen it several times over the villages.
The actually aliens that actually live here own homes. They need to be near water for some reason. they blend in like regular everyday people but you can tell who they are. They all seem to be happy, smile a lot, then tell you they live in a bubble.

Gerald, Gerald, thank God for your post. I was racheting up with fear till I got to yours, So where do we take off in an ultralight boomerang, and can my boxer go too?
ps I can contribute to your list of aliens if you can keep me off of it.

It was a airplane that once was a home built. It is called a VariEase and has a pusher type prop. The pilot is almost in a laying down position. These particular airplanes might now be manufactured. Very fast for a small airplane.

There are a couple of fly-in communities next to TV. One is on either Rolling Acres or Racetrack Road (my mind isn't' working right now) and the other is on Marion County Road near Cottom Farms.

Relax, Have you ever heard of an Ultralight Aircraft ? If not here is some useful information to help you.
Ultralights have been around for years, usually piloted by a single person, but some have two seats. Individuals Do Not Need to have have a pilots license to fly an Ultralight.
They are fun to fly usually powered by nothing more than a lawn mower motor, (Kawasaki) comes to mind. You may see from time to time a version of an Ultralight with a small inflated parachute flitting around the area.
So you can sleep easy and perhaps go back to finding a home for that lost dog,Good Night.

I woke up thinking, "That did not look like an ultralight".
And I've flown in homemade RV6 and RV8, totally not afraid, just kidding about that gang, and you guys are a stitch.
It wasn't a varieze, from the pix I googled.
if I could sketch on here I'd draw a gray broad boomerang and put a large prop on the front. no tail.

Take this image, color it gray, make straight lines of the curves. Add a long, slender blade front prop, lighter in color than the body, perhaps white.
I can't find anything that looks like it online...
seriously, I want to know...but don't stop joking.

It looked more like this video than anything else I can find. My view was directly beneath. This one, a Verhees (not Varieze,) seems about the right size.

Google "Delta Dyke", a delta wing design by John Dyke.
Although not many of these aircraft were built, it is more likely that this is what you saw rather than the Verhees design in Europe.
