I'm an independent LTC insurance agent, and represent several different companies. The very first LTC policies were facility (nursing home) only (20-30 yrs ago), and then they introduced both separate facility only, and facility and home care. If you have the facility and home care, then yes, a registered nurse, or home health aid can come to your home to help take care of you.
