Let's assume you had the ability, time and financially to spend a month anywhere in the world where would you chose and why.?:plane:

Scotland and Ireland. For the people, the golf, the history, and the challenge of driving on the other side of the road. My wife would live at any Marks and Spencer with just a fork and spoon and a can of Sterno.

Luxembourg, Sweden, Germany and Austria to check out the villages where my ancestors came from.

Hawaiian Islands , I have been fortune enough to do a lot of traveling in my lifetime and there is no place like Hawaii .....At last count I have been there seventeen times....Loved everyone of them and can't wait to go back.
Thinking about next March or April.........

It has always been my dream to go to the Galapagos or on a photo safari in Africa. But I don't know if I would want to spend a month in either place. I love creature comforts. So Andalucia or rural France.

Tough choices. San Francisco to visit friends, see what's new and what's old. Hit my favorite restaurants, dance at Slim's, listen to jazz and eat sushi at Yoshi's. At the same time, I love to travel. As much as I've been through Europe, I've yet to visit the Greek isles and I would truly love to do that. Just island hop the Mediterranean for 30 days. China also has great potential -- would love to see how it has changed since I was a child. We really couldn't visit the country there like we did elsewhere, so would love to truly see the nation, talk to the people, etc. And I can think of several other places I would dearly love to visit, either to renew my past or discover something entirely new.

Back to back cruises around South American. We did the Southern half about five years ago and it was amazing. My wife and I are looking forward to possibly doing the northern half in a year or so.

Not necessarily in this order, but the Greek Islands, Paris, Rome, Florence.

I totally agree. If we ever hit the lottery we will be on a plane the next day to Paris and will spend the winter in The Villages ! Until then TV is the only place we want to be.

Sail the Carribean. More specifically the BVI. We have been very fortunate to usually spend a week there every year.

Israel, to see places in the bible and go with a great Biblical teaching group!!
My husband would never want me to go there though....many have said Bethlehem is not at all safe.
Been to Hawaii and love it but I would probably end up in Australia and New Zealand with a stopover back in Hawaii, of course.

Guess my world is small. I've been to Paris and loved it but over and over we spend what time we can, when we can in New Orleans, in the Quarter. We HAVE spent a month in the Quarter and I'd go back there again for a month if I could anytime. I LOVE the Quarter. My heart belongs to NOLA.

A month on the cruise ship The World. Unpack just once and just go wherever the ship takes us.

Never been to Europe, but Hong Kong is one of the most interesting places in the Pacific realm. Very vibrant city with lots of great food and sights.

Marblehead Massachusetts. Quaint historic harbor town adjacent to Salem and just 15 miles north of Boston on public transportation route. Convenient to Cape Cod, Cape Ann, New Hampshire mountains and Maine Coastline.
However, the month would definitely have to be in the summer.
