I need recommendations for a primary care doctor in or near the Villages. Would really like one who specializes in diabetes but my biggest wish is one who practices preventative medicine. That best describes my previous doctor, and I loved him. He actually saved my life by following up testing suspicious lab results. He didn't hesitate to aggressively test to track down suspicious symptoms. Thanks for any referrals.

We have Michael Clifford at The Villages Health clinic at Colony. He's good at diabetes.

The problem I have with Villages health is almost all the doctors have reached their limit of new patients. I guess I could take a "left over" and wait for an opening

Actually, they're bringing in new docs all the time. Tuesday Sept 17 at Savanah,at 1:30 there will be an update on all of this. Get ticket at box office. Will be held in the big auditorium where the broadway shows are performed. Free!

Premier Medical Center = Dr Gegaj is the best, will talk to you as long as you want. Came from Cleveland Clinic, very, very good. Been seeing him for over 2 years.

When I called a month ago, Dr. Gegaj was not taking anymore new patents. Perhaps this has changed.
