I just got gas there three days ago, Sept 14 and there were no lovebugs. I think that you just happened to be there when a flock of them were in the area.

Excellent question! If you are anti union you should stay away from Sam's Club. If you are pro union you should stay away from Sam's Club. Just stay away from Sam's Club and you won't need to comment about their Love Bugs. Would be nice if you could make your comments more relevant to the subject at hand. By they way, there are loads of Love Bugs around the Gas Pumps at Sam's all the time during Love Bug season. Don't know why except possibly that they are members. If you were you'd probably already know about them. Only costs $35 to find out first hand.

I was there today also.Remarked to my friend "how does that poor attendant stand working here during love bug season?" It really was like original poster stated the most concentrated collection of these love bugs I've ever seen anywhere.

I just got back from getting gas at Sam's Club....I didn't notice too many love bugs, but I will say the wind was blowing pretty strong...probably blew them away.

There was a vendor there selling a cleaner for cars and windows to remove love bugs...

Love bugs appear to be attracted to auto exhaust, which is why they especially swarm around highways, splattering themselves on the paint. Perhaps the number of autos at and waiting for the pumps at Sam's are what causes them to be more numerous.
