Has anyone sold a whole kitchen full of new appliances? We're closing on a new CYV with white appliances that we would like to replace with stainless steel. The contractor who installed them doesn't upgrade (some do, this one does not). So, if we want new ones, we have to sell the DW, refrigerator, microwave and electric stove.

Naturally the contractor said it was easy to do. Is it really? Have you done it? Did you get a reasonable price? Did they sell quickly?

I am reluctant to do this without hearing from someone who has actually done it. In fact, white is starting to look better as I type this. Thanks for your insight.

Yes it is easy - I sold my 5 year old white appliances in a matter of a few days.

We sold our 9 year old white appliances plus washer and dryer within a week. Just depends on how bad you want to get rid of them.

I may be interested when are you selling?

With the return of only spec homes there will be people buying homes with appliances not the kind or color that is perfect and the developer does not change anything out on a spec home.

We sold our brand new refrigerator in Hadley on TOTV and got one with an ice maker.

I remember being absolutely annoyed they wouldn't change it out. OR negotiate on the price of a new home.

That was the beginning of my education.

I'm currently looking for a bisque (off white) gas range and refrigerator. Love to find them here!
