Your link did not come through but I amd guessing you were trying to display trucks loaded with the new Corvettes in transit.

Had a nice picture of a new C7, sorry but the link is down... BG just happens to be my hometown so it is big news there.....

Here's another picture..

Forget about buying one for sticker price anytime soon. Perhaps in a year or so?

I've got 2 friends who have ordered new C7's already.........at MSRP - no dealer add-ons, no "packing", no B.S - just tax, title, and doc fees (which is limited in OH to a max of something like $275, much less than in FL).

One is a coupe which was ordered back in June or July. He's got a very low VIN number (below 150!) and is headed to the plant on Sept. 28th for Museum Delivery. They gave him a very good price on his '08 C6 convertible on trade.

The other guy just placed his order last month for a convertible. Those aren't scheduled to start showing up til after the first of the year. He's in no big hurry - winter weather won't break here til the March-April timeframe anyways!

The problem some people will experience in trying to get/order one will be that ANY Chevy dealer will be willing to take your order..........but will they get enough of an allocation to be able to fulfill your order for the 2014 model year?

Both cars noted were ordered at Coughlin Chevrolet in Pataskala, OH (central OH). They can get you the Corvette you want. The man you'd want to talk with is Rick Conti:

Nahas Chev in Wildwood has 7 ordered & spoken for....on the other hand Kerbeck, in Atlantic City, the largest dealer in the world, has 507 allocated (estimates) from GM for the first 6-9 months of production. Kerbeck is charging sticker price only.

The Village Vettes meet the 2nd Thu of each month 7 pm at Coconut Cove Rec Center..... yeah you must be an owner....

Wow, that's great news. I've got to wonder if that is some sort of mandate from Chevy requiring dealers to sell at MSRP only. When the new Camaro was introduced a few years ago dealers around here were demanding up to 5K over sticker on the high-end models......and getting it.

edit: I should have read your links before commenting. Glad to see that some dealers are choosing to take the high road & not price gouge.....all on their own.
