The linked cite I have here from The Today Show is an interview with Shellie Zimmerman. Wow, that is about all I can say about it. You have to take it with the grain of salt since they are not on good terms with their divorce but ...?

George Zimmerman’s wife: 'I have doubts but I also believe the evidence' - TODAY.com (http://www.today.com/news/george-zimmermans-wife-i-have-doubts-i-also-believe-evidence-8C11257699)

Sorry but Matt Lauer has zero credibility IMO. She didn't give him the answer he wanted so lead her to what he wanted to hear. The whole this (the divorce) is a hot mess. I find it pretty pathetic she chose to take her divorce fight on national TV. I'm not going to defend George but she is showing her true colors. Sad but it always comes down to the money.

Think I'll leave it that I think Matt and Shelly deserve each other and both have about the same amount of class. :yuck:

Like there's nothing else of substance in national/international news to talk about.

It's so tiresome to see ignorant people dump their dirty laundry on a t.v. stage, but the networks give them the spotlight.

As we are here.

Sounds like she has been upset for some time, then that little murder incident he was involved in and she ants out. Not very loyal.

George Zimmerman's Wife Shellie Zimmerman Says He Has Changed Since Trial (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/26/wife-says-george-zimmerma_0_n_3994984.html)

Like it or not, Zimmerman's case is a part of US history now especially with the amount of news play this case has received around the world. Who knows how or why this interest gets started?

That is exactly right about Zimmerman being part of American history. It is part of the celebrity culture - just like other infamous people like Rodney King, OJ Simpson, and Casey Anthony. I would also have a separate (but equal) section for those like Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Snooki and JWow, and all the "Real Housewifes of the various places".

We have not had much about Paris Hilton in quite a while. http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/paris-hilton-reminisces-about-nicole-richie-simple-life---and-shopping-at-costco-2013279

My sentiments exactly. Why do we persist in giving this individual free space in our heads? Do we have nothing better to do with our time?...

We have many other things to talk about, nothing important however, I guess it's ok if we can talk about boring stuff though
