Since I am not going to be in TV very often, I am not interested in signing up for Comcast or DirectTV right now. Wanted to know if anyone has used the rabbbit ears or the flat things on their TV's for reception and if it worked. Thanks!

Very weak Orlando signals with lots of snow.

Thanks! Guess that's not an option!

We tried a TV with rabbitt ears in our kitchen. Could only receive NBC out of Orlando and very, very poorly. We ended up having another cable outlet put in the kitchen.

Comcast has a $12 per month option. Well worth the small monthly payment to have occasional TV.

Thanks for the tip on Comcast. Will check into that!

The $12/month is very limited channels...broadcast networks, VNN (villages news channel), weather, and a few others. But, you do get cable quality. If you come visit for any extended period, you can pay the service fee to have your selection expanded then reduce it back when you leave. This is a cost-effective option for seasonal, non-permanent residents.
