If anyone is looking for a good Italian Deli/Bakery/butcher shop and everything else in between it is worth the drive to St.Petersburg! This place is incredible. We go every few months and bring coolers with us so we can take home lots of goodies! So worth the drive best place for fresh made Mozzarella , their meats and deli and bakery items are to die for! Give it a try!
Here's their website!
Mazzaro's Italian Market - Italian Deli, Italian Bakery, Gourmet Cheese & Wine, Meat Deparment, Pasta, Seafood, FL, Florida > Home (http://www.mazzarosmarket.com)

Enjoy! :clap2:

Sounds great! There are outings arranged to that shop by a local Villages travel agent, Claire Andrews. If you want to go somewhere much closer and, also, excellent, but probably much smaller, I recommend Little Italy in Inverness (124 North Apopka Av.). They're really wonderful, and the owners are a hoot!

Thanks Chazz, will give them a try! A outing sounds nice but not conducive to our bringing coolers of food home, plus when down that way we shop at McDill AFB also. It's a nice drive and we have lunch at Mazzaro's also while there. In between will will try Little Italy , thanks for the tip!

Excellent website. The home made pasta, such as manicotti and ravioli looks great. All of it. Ditto for the "cheese room".....and bakery section.
Not to mention the various breads........plus everything else.

Thanks for sharing..........what a find.
