Any suggestions on how to quiet a Yamaha Gas cart?
Has anyone used some type of sound deadeners?

Exhaust extension, a.k.a. side-discharge exhaust pipe
1" foam mounted under the seat
Sound deadening mats mounted to inside of body

Yes - buy a Yamaha Electric. :)
No seriously I have a tail pipe extension and some foam deadening material but it's still relatively noisy.
Any other ideas?

Buy electric and let it drip battery acid all over your garage and drive way

Save your money, you will never get a quiet gas cart. I had mine insulated and exhaust exiting by rear bumper.
A very slight reduction in noise, a big expense in $. Money better spent on disposable ear plugs. IMO

Gas golf carts are actually safer than electric because of their noise level. Pedestrians often are nearly flattened by the eerily silent electric carts.
There is always a silver lining.

How about don't pollute and maintain your batteries?

Simple, I just turn my hearing aids down.
