They will not be in the stores until spring, they will probably not survive the cold weather we are likely to get, they need consistent warm temps at night. I never had any luck buying around here, I get mine off the internet. Do search for Wave Petunias and it will bring up the various types of Wave (there are many now) and where you can get them.
You could probably get seeds and start your own and bring them in in the colder weather. I think Ebay has stuff like this.

Last week my landscapers planted petunias for me. I don't think, they are wave petunias but last year they were planted as well and took off like crazy. That's why we planted them again this year. They are in the ground not in a planter. They spread rapidly to create a beautiful boarder in front of my home. Can't hurt to give them a try as well. I believe they lasted about 3 months, which is about how long flowers last for me. Every three months I have to change out the annuals but I love the different flowers and colors.

try some of the Proven Winners line of petunias. they are far superior to Wave petunias which tend to get bare in the center of the plant. we had them last year, planted them in the fall, and they bloomed and bloomed all winter and spring, and finally gave up in April. we got them at Village Palms, CR 466 near Rolling Acres Rd, in Lady Lake. I was there today and they have a new shipment which are just lovely!
