My wife is from the New Bedford area. Is there a Massachusetts social group that gets together every month or so

Yes, there is. Mass Baystaters club meets the 3rd Wed of the month. It is listed in the rec news for that week. The website is:

Thank you for this site. I have been here 8 years and never knew you existed, I thought the Red Sox Nation was the only club for BayStaters!
