recycling cardboard and styrofoam

Are these items recyclable?

Yes, they are. I always put them out with my other recyclables for pick-up and they take them. If they weren't recyclable, they would take them.

I called the garbage guys a few months ago to ask if styrofoam was recyclable.
There answer was .....we wish it were, but it's not.

Styrofoam = No

Publix will take stryofoam and colored plastic bags. Green bins out front. Also, a good place to take plastic grocery bags...any notforprofit thrift store.
