Does anyone have recommendations for good golf cart rentals. Village golf cart rentals are really dogs. They only go about 14 miles an hour. My sisters kids rented the six seater and just left it in the driveway.

We've been here 2 and 1/2 years and rented from many different people when we have visitors. We've had a number of disappointments until we started using carts from Scott Prince at Grandma and Grandpas Buggies. 352 552-8478. He delivers and picks up as promised and carts are always nice and fast!

Jim Fallowell has a lot of carts and many of them are really fast. You can find his number if you search this forum.

But remember - a "golf cart" is not supposed to be able to exceed 20 mph....

Most rentals are turned down for liability reasons.

Trying to find a good company to rent from and my neighbor told me that Advantage's prices are good. Has anyone had good/bad experiences with them??

So last year I had last minute visitors in early March but everything of course was rented-so this year I have the dates for my early March visitors and everywhere I called said I was too EARLY or they were already reserved-so that left Village Golf Carts and the limo style slowing moving four seaters
