Removal of a Palm

In my increasingly frustrating search for a home, I looked at a home that had an obviously diseased palm tree There was a large wound near the base and appeared to be rotting. It brought the question to mind, what would it cost to remove it? It looked to be about thirty feet high. Anyone remove a large palm? Can you guestimate the cost?

Some of the landscapers will take it out for $50-150.00. We normally just drop it with a chainsaw and haul it to the curb in pieces .

These folks also know how to build large and intricate pieces of furniture and have American Eagles nesting in one of the most beautiful trees in The Villages in their front yard.

Sam is also great at any number of games and is kind to dogs and old people.

I am pretty sure that Sam can leap tall buildings at a single bound.

Thanks for the praises, Gracie. I hate to disappoint, but leaping tall buildings is something I do not attempt anymore. I don't fall like I used to. I love my woofs, though.
Speaking of building, my glorious husband is building a table for the lanai. It will seat twelve easily. It is made of solid oak and will be beautiful. Getting the right chairs for it will not be easy, so I ordered a dozen cast aluminum sling chairs with arms to use with it until I happen upon "the" chairs. The perfect chairs will have arms, be very comfy and last of all will look nice with the oak. I'm almost thinking that he or I should build the chairs. We'll see. If anyone wants to sell twelve comfy chairs matching this description, please PM me.

Thanks for the info. We have decided to continue our search, this particular house had too many issues.
