Unable to post pics in Ad

Was trying to Post a new thread.
I got as far as adding pictures. Every time I tried I failed.
I even tried as an Edit Post and went to Advanced and tried again.
I forget what the message said the error was but i can tell you that the pictures I was using was coming from my Iphone so I do not think the size of the pictures were an issue.
Anyone know the answer.

I find it easier to put the pics on a photo hosting website like Photobucket, then linking to it via the https://www.talkofthevillages.com/forums/images/talkofthevillages/editor/insertimage.gif icon.

Here's how to enter a post on TalkOfTheVillages.com
1. Click on the appropriate section of the forum. General Discussion, for example.
2. Click on a thread of conversation you want to read.
3. When you get to the last post, click "Post Reply".
4. Type in the white box.
5. When you are finished, scroll down and click on Submit.

If you want to start a new thread of conversation.
1. Click on the appropriate section of the forum. The sections are listed in the home page, or index page.
2. Click on the "Post Thread" button on the left side, atop the first message.
3. In the Title block, type your title.
4. In the big, white box below that, type your message.
5. Scroll down and click Submit New Thread.

For posting an image: After you type the text for your ad scroll down to the next area called 'Additional Options' and in the middle of that box you will see 'Manage Attachments'. A separate. box will appear and you can upload from your computer or a URL your image. If uploading from your computer click on the 'Browse' button, find your .jpeg image, click upload, then close the box. Then click 'Save Changes' and you are done and your image should appear.
