I spoke to the sales rep I deal with at TV and when I asked about the resales, he told me that they (in mos cases) were priced higher than the new homes. Of course, I know the motivation for selling new vs resale in TV.
Can you offer some suggestions for other Realtors that handle resales for TV? I'm assuming not everyone lists with TV real estate office.
Realtors are people..just like all people there are good ones and bad ones. Interview a couple before listing. You get what you pay for... so low commission saves you a few bucks, but it may not always be the wise thing to do
Make sure they do virtual tours.... have show case status on Realtor.com... any have good chemistry with you... and working knowledge of The Villages

While that line may be true sometimes, TV is eager to sell their houses. I heard the same line when we first bought, and I admit I didn't do enough research. I'm sure, especially in today's market, their are many extremely motivated sellers here. I would like to hear what realtors outside TV have to say.

I was very lucky to have a great realtor Cherry St.Clair...She was a doll, and so very honest! She was very upfront about TV and every thing that happens here..I was lucky to have her..

We used Esther Mital from TV. She was informative and so easy to work with - a true professional.

Another great realtor, who also lives in TV, is Joe Braga. Straight up, honest, and will tell you like it is.
