I think the prices for new homes are going up weekly as new homes are listed. The most expensive PV is now almost $186,000.

Does anyone know what the price of the bond is on these new Patio Villas?

I agree prices have really gone up on all the new TV homes. According to my "rough calculation" prices up about 20% in the last year on most homes. It is difficult to get exact because you don't know the upgrades in the new homes.

The prices don't seem to scare many folks off!

We bought a patio villa a few weeks ago and the bond was $12,000, but that was a smaller lot villa at $156 grand. The ones currently being listed at $175 grand and more are corner lots with almost twice the land. As far as I can tell not much difference in upgrades from the cheaper one we bought.

We were told by real estate agent any villas built in the future will not come with blinds, ceiling fans, washers or dryers.

Thank you, tippyclub, for the information. Resales with little or no bond should appreciate this. "High tide raises ALL boats" ... as the saying goes.

Well we looked at 3 resale's and they were MORE than new homes, with bonds also. All three of them needed work, and lots of it.

Inventory is very low for homes in the patio villa price range. We had contacted a outside real estate agent also, and he had no homes to show us.

We looked at new patio villas two years ago and they were $135 grand, which is why we bought now. Only time will tell if we made the best decision.

If you know the unit number the answer is here:

but it does matter for price of new home. All the new patio villas in the same CDD will have the same bond - it's based on density of the neighborhood, not by individual lot size.
