Has anyone else in the villages had any concerns or issues with empty nest home watch?

Other than they're way overpriced and you never know who exactly will be checking your home? There are many very good home watch services at half the price and twice the service.

Try redwitch - see post above. Many on TOTV speak highly of her and the service that she provides.

We never used Empty Nest- but our next door neighbors did.
I knew, because I saw their van in my neighbor's driveway.
The van had a LARGE company logo on each side.
Without exaggeration, the words could be read 1/2 block away:
EMPTY NEST HOUSE WATCH
In my opinion, that served to reveal ( to anyone passing by) that the house was unoccupied.

We chose to hire "Let Dee Do it 4U" (352) 630-3190 our first year,
until we became full time residents.
Dee is insured and bonded. She arrives in a golf car (no business advertising)
at a different time and day each visit.
She stayed in touch with us weekly and after each house visit, she gave us a complete run down of what she checked…. and she would occasionally offer recommendations she thought we might find helpful. They were!!
In my opinion, she cared for our home as if it were her own.
I rate Dee with enthusiastic Applause! Applause!

Had major problems with the villages service, to the point that I demanded all of my money back (over 3 months worth), and that they fix at their expense the unobserved water damage. Will never use them again.
