View Full Version : TOTV Readers' Choice Survey

There are so many questions in posts about best Vendors .. everything from insurance companies, internet services, lawn care, pest control, golf carts, gutters, lanai enclosures, birdcages, pet care, realtors, furniture stores, .... it would be really cool to have a TOTV Readers' Choice Survey once a year so we could all vote for our favourite Vendors.
It would be a source of great information for new homeowners! I also think it would be very prestigious for businesses to be able to advertise that they received the yearly TOTV Readers' Choice Award. There could be a winner and two "runners up". Also good publicity for the TOTV site.
The people who set up this site have done a great job .. thanks for your time! I don't know if what I'm suggesting is even possible, but I thought I'd just put it out there for comments.

Thanks for the info! Now---I am coming down for two months...November and December. My brother is coming to visit me at TV for Thanksgiving. Where should we make reservations to eat Thanksgiving Dinner? Someone told me that the country clubs have nice "spreads"....but, that you have to make reservations, early. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Lynn

We've only done Thanksgiving at home so far. But we've gone out of other holidays. There are many places to go out for dinner like th CC's for the holidays and many folks here do. During any holiday, making reservations in advance is a good idea....how far in advance you can do this....I don't know. You'd have to call around to get the best info.

Do you have any particular cC that you would recommend?
I don't know where to call--since I don't know the names of any of them!
Are there other restaurants either there or in Ocala that come recommended for a Thanksgiving Buffet?

Hey Russ...nice website; interesting concept; I haven't seen a cart up close and it's a little difficult for me to tell how the screen fastens to the golf cart and whether it is easily removable or stays in place or rolls up???
No logos, eh? So, can't put a Michigan M or a fighting Terp on it?
Good luck to you.... the entrepreneurial spirit lives on in The Villages!!!

Easily attached....in rigid frame.....put on in seconds. Graphic on the outside, blank from the driver and passenger perspective. Rainy weather? Flip up the windshield right over top.

Not to sound disagreeable or anything, but why don't you start a post on bug screeners so all are aware of it.
I am still looking for Thanksgiving dinner.

If you've got an internet connection, you have a huge directory at your fingertips. Get with the technology Ditzy!! Its absolutely super stuff. Here's what a single Google search turned up on Tierra del Sol:

In fact some of the restaurant menus are on the internet. My wife is invited to a luncheon at the Lopez Legacy restaurant and she went on-line to check out the menu!!
She put "nancy lopez restaurant" (without the ") and got the lunch/dinner menu. You might need some more refinement for some of the others.
