Hello there!

I've got parents that spent last winter in TV, and rented a place before they left for THIS winter. I was wondering if any of you had advice about what might makes good gifts for them, with the Season looming? I was thinking a golf membership, but from what I can understand from the information on golfthevillages.com, that won't really be practical (they liked the executive courses just fine, and are only down about 4 months), and I can't pay the activity card as a surprise because that goes through the property owner. Last year, I got them a gift certificate to Mike's Prime Steak House in Ocala, which went over well. Another idea was a month of cart rental, but after reading through the forums here it sounds like choosing an agency to use is best done by them. Help!

Possibly some movie tickets or Savannah Center tickets for a holiday show?

Gift cards; housecleaning service; spa day; day tickets to something they would enjoy like Disneyworld or swimming with dolphins, etc.; private golf lessons with a good pro. A surprise visit if you're emotionally close (sounds like you are), especially during the holidays or maybe tickets to come up and visit for one of the holidays.

I love all the above ideas.
Gift cards for restaurants and movies, or hiring a
housecleaner for them.
What a thoughtful idea.
