I asked the same question not too long ago and was told that it is a function of the number of posts that you make....and nothing more. :dontknow:

I know that when you reach 250 posts....you get four stars. Nothing important said though. Now....if you received stars based on content......hmmmmm......that would be interesting.

Ok....well said...and point made. Let's say we begin awarding stars ....awarded by posters in the forum....for content....humorous....poignancy....eloquence....p articularly caustic, germaine....etc. I'd suggest a STAR icon....like smileys or a thumbs down smiley....etc. Whatya think?

Why you of course and others who frequent this forum....Are you suggesting a judging panel of peers maybe? Hmmm...(scratching chin)?

I don't think so...........I had too much of the bureaucratic crap IIBM and USMCR) and am now very happily retired from same!

OMG, a second star appeared out of the sky...at 50 posts! So, basedon what I see, every 50 posts gets you a star..............isn't that like Mrs Moore's kindegartern class at Middletown, NY in 1949? Cool......
