First ever TOTV "face to face" get together.

Okay, it's time. Would I be correct in assuming that members of this forum would enjoy meeting each other in person? If I were to arrange a gathering, would you attend. It would be a simple thing. Maybe lunch or something like that. I am open to suggestions and dates. Woudl you attend. This is not only for registered members but even those that "lurk" and do not post.

I have a small suggestion. To make the first Meet the Face Behind the Keyboard simple yet, fun. How about a pot luck dessert (finger stuff) picnic with some volunteering to get jo and tea at DD's? Just a thought to throw around.

Since some of the avid posters appear to be seasonal (I'm getting the impression that seasonal may be a bad word in TV??), perhaps having a gathering when the snow starts flying (November) might be a good idea.

You are probably correct. Dates are the big problem. Some of our members are not even seasonal. They are not here yet. I want to wait a couple more days to see how many responses we get. I find too, that people who are not registered, but "lurk" regularly will want to attend. I guess, they will have to just show up.

We are always interested in meeting new friends. We are not living in TV permanently yet, but we live about an hour away. We rent out the house we own in TV for most of the year.

We will keep and eye on this board and see if we can make it. A weekend would help a lot.
