Has anyone looked into or know of anyone who has put in a well for irrigation water?

Is it allowed by the CC&R's or even the county you live in?

I am sure that is something the gods here would never allow it takes away from the profit of selling you graywater back to you

All the homes in Bison Valley..which is Village owned and built (Sumter County) but a family oriented location, have wells supporting their irrigation systems.

South Florida Water Management would never grant a permit for an individual well for any purpose. Any well in florida requires a permit from the local water management district in addition to the county.

It might be wise to select another source for a correct answer.

Your irrigation water is not graywater. It is storm runoff. Graywater is used on the golf courses. Both sources are supplemented by well water.

I checked the Deed Restrictions for our place - no can do:

"Owners are prohibited from utilizing or constructing private wells or other sources of irrigation water within the Subdivision".
