Anyone have a good, cheap Internet provider?

I have Comcast, not good, not cheap, and not reliable; it failed to function 4 times in 84 days. That’s an average of down ever 21 days. Having had a voice over IP phone I had to go to the recreation center and use the phone at the front desk to report my outage. After the first two outages I tired of the routine and purchased a Straight Talk Home Phone. Four malfunctions and not one required a technician to come to my house.

That's odd, I've had Comcast installed for 20 months and NEVER had a single outage. I'm on it all day and night. It's always BLAZING fast (50+ down/25+up)

If you live south of 466A, Brighthouse has 10mbps internet.. free install, and you get home phone service free for the first year..

How Much??

10.0 Mbps: 55.50/month
30.0 Mbps: 75.50/month
60.0 Mbps: 90.50/month
90.0 Mbps: 105.50/month
Any of the above prices come with home phone service free for the first year. We offer the fastest speeds in the area.

Now that is speed!!!!!!!:bigbow::bigbow:

That's what we can really use, is some competition with Comcast. I have Comcast, and rarely have a problem, BUT "Gosh Ding-It, they keep nickel and dime you. Every month, it seems to go up something. What ever their speed is for computer, it's enough for me, and Xfinity gives a lot of everything, but the price? LOL No more venting!!

We have Comcast for internet only. Costly but MOSTLY reliable. Worst customer service if you do have a problem. Like the time recently when they cut my cable connection by mistake and then took almost a week to come out and repair it after multiple phone calls and broken promises.

We live just north of 466A off St. Charles and have had Century Link since July 2011 and have 10 mbps internet and home phone with free long distance, caller ID and call block for $59.99 a month plus tax. Doesn't sound like Brighthouse is all that much better since your offer is only for 12 months and we're on our third year. You don't mention if long distance is included. I could get faster internet speed but I haven't found any problems with 10 mbps, I can't remember ever having an outage and we have what they call 'to the curb', there is no modem our router plugs directly into the wall outlet. We've had our television with Directv since 2008 and have been very happy with them.
