Brownwood Paddock Square, The Villages (http://www.thevillages.com/lifestyle/cam_bw.asp)

The webcam at Brownwood shows a large tent this morning. Is something special going on there today?

We went to Paddock Square last night to see the Caribbean Chillers, really good Jimmy Buffet style band. We ate at City Fire and I asked our waiter what the tent was for, he said it's for the 'old people' to give out candy from their carts on Halloween. That explanation made my wife and me feel pretty good, since he didn't think we were one of them old people.

Back to the topic, ;), now they're putting down some sort of flooring in front of the stage. Its a checkerboard design. I'm gonna be there tonight, so guess I'll find out first hand. Strange, nothing in the newspaper about it.

I found it in the Sun after my earlier post. The entire back page of local section page C10 is a huge display ad. Wednesday and Thursday at Paddock Square a bunch of happenings going on.

What is the "Sleepy Holloween Town" event on the Daily Sun's monthly calendar page? It says Sleepy Holloween Town event for Wednesday and Thursday nights in Paddock Square from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

I was at Brownwood a while this eve...they will be set up to sell you food and drink and give you a table to eat it. That looks like the main thing outside the big tent. I didn't peek in there...don't want to spoil my fun.
