joined the dating site Our Time yesterday and must say it has been fun so far but have not been able to figure out how to narrow my search to the parameters i want. seems like anybody all over the country can write to me, which in a couple of cases has been pleasant! they had a sale so i took advantage of a very low price (ever frugal as i am)! it is my way of keeping up hope that i someday may experience again the happiness i felt when i was head over heels in love! do you think it is still possible at our age?

Chax3, I do indeed believe it possible at our age. Never give up! You are a great lady. I hope you find just the right guy or he finds you, however it works out.

Never stop looking. There is somebody for everybody. You just have to look. There is somebody here that i would like to get to know better, but i am not a pushy person so i will just wait & hope that maybe someday the opportunity may come when we can get to know each other better.
Never give up.

hi RSWF,
i learned long ago not to sit and wait and hope. i would never have had the blissfully happy marriage i had to my Belgian husband if i had not packed up a bag and returned to the town where we met, without a reservation, knowing we were meant to be. he was SO happy to see me, but i know he never would have called and asked me to come! sometimes a little "push" is a good thing, when you are sure! i think i know to whom you refer and i wish you all the best! :)

Every woman with whom I have been in a long term relationship has given me a "push" somewhere along the line.

good heavens. this must be why I never had a true love. If I really feel crazy about a guy I am speechless and careful not to make eye contact....gulp. I need flirting lessons, and forget me showing up without being asked. Chacha, you beat all. AND Sandra, you know Cha is a SAINT!

Anybody having any luck with the "our time" site?
I am contemplating giving it a try. They keep sending me cut rate deals. Has anyone found it worthwhile?

Give me a call sometime and I can walk you through the search function. Maybe you can help me with some of the more subtle functions of TOTV.

Currently I have profiles on okCupid, plentyoffish, seniorfriendfinder, datehookup and last but not least (this one costs $) seniorpeoplemeet ! This is what happens when a city-gal lives out in the boonies of Oregon; currently snowed-in for 4 days. OK, I need to get a life and start socializing in the real world LOL !!
And, I believe we are never too old, nor is it too late, to find "love" again and all the feelings that go with it. :clap2:
