I'm looking for a good reasonable dentist. I don't care weather he/she is in TV or not.
Thanks

I'd like to find one also who doesn't want to place a crown on every tooth, give you that million dollar smile and a deep cleaning - what happened to the good reasonable dentists??

Dr. Forest Jerkins in Fruitland Park on 441. I went to him for an emergency and he took care of me quickly and with no upsell. I go every six months now for cleaning and when he checks me after the cleaning there is no attempt to schedule additional services. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
I sent a neighbor to him who was having pain and he raved about how professionally he was treated.

Good to know---thanks for the post. Seems everyone wants to "upsell" you today. I just want my teeth to last as long as me---I'm pretty enough so says the wife!

Reasonable and dentists doesn't go in the same sentence. At least, that is what I am experiencing with my plan. I have found that several businesses seem to want to up sell you not just dentists.
I don't understand why someone has to check your whole being before they will perform a basic service. I went to a dental place that informed me that I had to have a full examination before thay would clean my teeth. The exam revealed that I needed to have seven teeth pulled immediately and a upper denture for the missing teeth for only 2,000. After the examination, they still wouldn't let me make an appt to clean my teeth and informed me that I need to go to a periodontists for the teeth cleaning. I want to keep my teeth as long as possible before resorting to this major development as they are not bothering me a bit in terms of pain.
Arrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!!!!!!! The periodontists wasn't in my plan.
I will wait until Jan when my new plan is in effect so I can go to the dentist.
Thanks mikeod for the suggestion of Forest Jenkins in Fruitland Park.

We both go to Main Street Dental in downtown Leesburg. Dentists are husband and wife and the staff is great. Cleaning and checkup are quite reasonable.
