Those of you who put your Comcast on vacation suspension if you have Comcast phone as well do you loose your phone number? I talked to Comcast and the person was clueless and suggested I call back.

No we did not lose our phone number when we put our service on "seasonal" service.

Really weird I was able to set up the vacation suspension no problem once I found the right person but they didn't know if I would loose my phone number.
By the way you need to select the disconnect option on the phone then the talk to a person option and then tell them you want vacation suspension. If you say vacation in the audio direct part of the phone select options it sends you to weird places.
They charge $5 per service per month so if you have an internet, TV, and phone it is $15.

We have Comcast triple play and have used the Vacation plan for the last 2 years when we go back north for the summer. And not only do you not loose your phone number, you also will continue getting voice mails for calls to your number. Therefore, you need to remember to check for messages while you are gone. Finally, when you place your service "On Vacation", you can either use the Comcast web site or call their number - (877) 342-6513. When you do, be sure and ask for the "VILLAGES RATE". As I recall, it is better than the standard Comcaast vacation rate.
